The Two Top-Selling E Foil Boards We Tested
So a few months ago we tried e foil boarding and we grabbed these two e-foil boards
Here are the reviews.
#1: Waydoo Flyer One Plus eFoil (Best E Foil Board)
Where To Buy: Amazon
Specs & Features:
– Dimensions of 66″L x 28″W
– Surface area of 1,534 cm
– Made of polypropylene (PP)
– Allows for 120 minutes of riding at speeds up to 25 MPH
Overall Thoughts:
I was extremely impressed with this e-foil board after playing with it a few times. It’s deceptively fast, when the water is flying past your face then 25mph feels really quick. The battery life was really solid, we went for about 1.5 hours and I had about a quarter of the battery pack left over and my legs were shattered. Overall the design feels high quality and durable, you can see that care was taken in the construction and it feels solid under your feet. There is a learning curve but once you get going it’s super fun.
So what are the downsides? One that I see being pretty frustrating is the charge time. It’s about 120 minutes for a full charge so you can’t just spontaneously take this out without charging it. Along with that – it is pretty expensive for many people.
Overall I loved this e foil board! It’s high quality and something that I will keep coming back to over and over again. I’m excited to improve at it so I can start taking it into bigger waves. I think you’ll love it if you decide to buy it.

How Do E Foil Boards Work?
Electric hydrofoil boards, often termed e-foils or electric foil boards, marry advanced technology with the fun of surfboarding. These innovative devices use a motorized propeller mounted beneath the board, connected to a rechargeable battery.
This setup accelerates the board forward across water surfaces without needing waves. Riders control their speed and maneuvers through an intuitive hand controller.
As the board gains momentum, its hydrofoil lifts it above the water’s surface, reducing drag and allowing for smoother rides at higher speeds. This unique feature distinguishes e-foils from traditional surfboards or electric surfboards by offering a flying sensation akin to gliding through air while carving turns like on powdery snow slopes.
So in a nutshell – that’s how it works.
Conclusion:
So, there you have it! We’ve tested out two of the top e-foil boards on the market, the Waydoo Flyer One Plus and the Takuma Carver, to see if they live up to the hype. Whether you’re looking for something stable and fun like the Waydoo, or a more challenging ride with the Takuma, both boards offer great features and promise loads of water fun.

These factors will help you choose a board that’s just right for your needs and ensure you get the most out of your time on the water.
E-foiling is an incredible way to experience the thrill of surfing without needing waves, and it’s a fantastic adventure every time you hit the water. So, if you’re ready to soar above the waves, check out these boards and find the one that excites you most. Dive in and enjoy the ride!
