This is honestly the best paddle board that I’ve tried in 2024. I had the chance to take it out on a lake and a river as an early tester of the board and it was amazing. Not only is it high performing, rigid and extremely stable… But they’ve also included so many action mounts and D-rings that give you the option to use it for almost anything. – It is well built, extremely stable and very functional – it’s great for everything from paddling in the ocean to playing around in a lake – Is extremely rigid and has minimal flex, which makes it really easy to balance on (we had a beginner stand in 30 seconds on this board) – Heavy duty construction + 3 year warranty shows that NIXY stands behind the product that they created – Nice speed on the water and it’s really easy to use. – Lots of D-rings and action mounts give you a lot of options to attach things like fishing rod mounts or kayak seats.

– I would love to see a paddle fastener attached in future models to lock the paddle into place when out on the water

#2: Monterey G5 (Perfect For Larger Riders)

Overall Thoughts:

This is NIXY Paddle Boards example of a ‘big brother’ to the Newport. It is basically the same SUP but it’s just designed for heavier riders, so they’ve increase the size and width of the board to accommodate those riders. Besides that, the specifications are extremely similar. My recommendation would be to get the Newport unless you’re heavier than 300 lbs, then this is the perfect choice for you.

– It is extremely stable, and built of high quality materials. – This is very versatile and you can use it in any conditions or water bodies. – Lightweight and easy to carry considering the size of the paddle board (11′), this is a really nice quality. – Comes with a 3 year warranty. – Really easy to use. – Lots of D-rings and action mounts like the Newport.	– It also doesn’t include a paddle fastener like the Newport G5.

Overall Thoughts:

This is a really nice paddle board that will give you something extremely stable and easy to use. The downside is that it takes a hit in speed and maneuverability, but that doesn’t really matter depending on how you want to use it. I would describe this SUP as perfect for yoga and very relaxed cruising, so if that is your goal then this is a great option for you.

– This is a very stable and easy to use paddle board. – Includes 5x action mounts and 16 d-rings that you can use to attach things like paddle board coolers and seats. – Lightweight and easy to lift above your head, this won’t be a problem to carry even for smaller women. – Comes with a 3 year warranty.	– It is quite a lot slower and bigger than the other options so it takes a hit on its speed.

If you’re looking for speed on the water then this is an amazing choice for you. Not only is it extremely fast and maneuverable, but it’s also really fun! It is a more advanced paddle board, so if you’re a beginner then you’ll need to spend some time finding your sea legs, but it will reward you with an extremely fun (and fast) ride that you can use to race or tour all over the world.

– Very fast and nimble on the water, it’s really fun to pick up speed and glide on the water. – Love the carbon fiber rails on the top and side to improve the stability. – Lightweight and has very little flex when pumped up properly. This board will last you a long time. – Super high quality – but NIXY paddle boards last forever so it’s not a surprise – Comes with a 3 year warranty.	– It can be quite wobbly when you’re first getting used to it.
